Bowden withdraws
New Zealand’s fastest sprinter, Scott Bowden, has a leg injury and has been forced to withdraw from the 4 x 100-metre relay team for the Australia Day meeting in Canberra tomorrow.
The Aucklander, Mark Woods, has replaced Bowden in the New Zealand team. Bowden has also pulled out of the international meeting in Christchurch at the week-end.
