ASOMUA, Patricia Joyce — On January 23,1989, at Christchurch Hospital, much loved daughter of Connie and Jim Hoskins, and the late Roy Burns, dearly loved wife of the late Sllllo, cherished mother of Johny, Ricky, Leao, Peta, and Teresa, loved sister of Rodney, Jeanie, Bonnie, Lyn, Bob, Alan, Bev, and the late Stewart, and a loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews; in her 42nd year. BENTLEY, Derick Olborne — On January 24, 1989 (peacefully), at home, dearly loved husband of Elizabeth (Betty), dearly loved father and father-in-law of Diane and lan Grant (Masterton), Glenis Lewis, and Sandra and John Ruck, much loved granddad of Matthew, Nicholas, and Katie Grant, Sarah, Charlotte, and George Lewis, and Sonya and Stephen Ruck, and much loved brother and brother-in-law of Doris and Ken Taylor (Rakala), Leo and Judy Bentley, and Margaret Manning (Woodville); in his 79th year. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills. No flowers, please, but donations in Derick’s memory to either the Nurse Maude District Nursing Association or the Haematology Department, Christchurch Hospital, may be left at the service. The Funeral service will be held in the Cashmere Presbyterian Church, corner Dyers Pass Road and Macmillan Avenue, on Friday, January 27, at 2 p.m., and thereafter to the Ruru Lawn Cemetery. J.
