SUPERVISOR MEMORIAL AVENUE ARTS AND CRAFT CENTRE APPLICATIONS are invited for the above position from those who have an interest in the promotion of arts and crafts at the community level. The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision and promotion of arts and crafts programmes offered at the centre, liaison with arts and crafts groups using the centre and the general supervision of the centre as a whole. Opportunities will also be available for tutoring classes in various arts and crafts if the successful applicant so desires. It is expected that the supervisor will be involved in centre duties for approximately 25 hours each week. However, the number of hours worked each day will be determined by the nature of the programme on any particular day. Therefore, a degree of flexibility will be required, as far as dally work hours are concerned to ensure that all duties are adequately carried out. The successful applicant will have the personal qualities required to relate to and gain the confidence of those taking part in the various arts and crafts programmes. A background and experience in arts and crafts will be an advantage. Two bedroom accommodation is available for the successful applicant the rental for which will be deducted from the remuneration received for the duties outlined above.
