NZPA-AP Bakersfield, California The former world heavyweight boxing champion, George Foreman, scored his fourteenth straight knockout last evening since beginning a comeback, stopping David Jaco at 2:03 of the first round. Foreman, aged 40, weighed 251 pounds (114 kg) while Jaco, aged 27, weighed 215 pounds (98
kg). Foreman floored Jaco three times before the end came early in the scheduled 10-round bout at the Casa Royale Hotel. The referee, Robert Byrd, stopped the fight after the third knockdown. Foreman now has a 562 record with 54 knockouts while Jaco is 22-16 with 17 knockouts. Sugar Ray Leonard, page 20
