PA Wellington Listed cashbox, London Pacific, has once again come under the control of Asian business interests and is being revamped into a forestry investor. Shelco Investments, a New Zealand incorporated holding company, has announced it had bought 69.4 per cent, of London Pacific from interests

linked to the Equiticorp group, which has effectively been mortgagee owner of the shares for more than a year. Shelco is owned by Singapore businessman, Stephen Koong Yue Hong, and Malay-sian-based investment adviser, Andrew Yew Ming Kwong. The purchase has already gained Overseas Investment Commission clearance.
