“Melting Pot,” by the all-woman New Zealand group “When The Cat’s Away,” reached No. 1 on the South Island top 20 this week. The single is a remake of the Blue Mink hit. John Cougar Mellencamp, Snapper, the super veteran group, Travelling Wilburys, and Def Leppard have new chart entries. The “Tour of Duty” TV series release was once again the best-selling LP.
