N.S.W. coal loss
The New South Wales coal industry has recorded its worst loss ever with a net deficit of SNZ2O7M for the 1987-88 financial year. News of the seventh consecutive annual loss comes just two months after miners voted narrowly to accept radical restructured work practices in the troubled industry.
