Marcus Flack (Woolston) leads Dean Wildermoth (Mairehau) past the start-finish line in one of the junior 450m heats of the South Island track cycling championships at Denton Park last week-end. Wildermoth won the heat, followed by Flack, but was eliminated in the second round. Flack managed a third in the second round and a second in the semi-final, but was not quick enough for a placing in the final. Russell Ownsworth (Hornby) won the championship in 34.0Is.
