Director appointed
Wellington reporter Mr Hamish Ensor of Canterbury has been appointed to the board of directors of the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust, the Minister of Conservation, Ms Helen Clark, has announced. The chairman of the high country section of Federated Farmers, Mr Ensor has been a member of its Dominion Lands Committee for five years. “Hamish Ensor is particularly interested in land use issues concerning the protection of the South Island high country,” said Ms Clark.
