Wild flowers featured on stamps
PA Wellington Wild flowers are featured on four new stamps to be issued by New Zealand Post on January 18 next year.
Many of the country’s wild flowers are “escaped” garden flowers. Those chosen by a Taka-
puna artist, Heather Arnold, who designed the stamps, are often seen in cultivated home gardens.
The flowers captured by the artist are red and white clover (40c), lotus (60c), montbretia (70c) and wild ginger (80c).
