Tenders County Strathallan CONTRACT NUMBER 35/88 PURCHASE OF TIMBER Tenders are Invited for the purchase of trees from three of the Council’s woodlots. The details of the woodlots are as follows: RESERVE NUMBER 7308 LOCATED AT WINCHESTER This stand consists of 1.39 hectares stocked with untended Plnus radiata. The predominant tree age is approximately 40 years. The assessed volume of sawlogs Is 509 cubic metres. RESERVE NUMBER 1862 LOCATED AT ORARI This stand consists of 0.72 hectares stocked with Plnus nigra approximately 46 years old. The assessed volume of sawlogs to 15cm small end diameter is 182 cubic metres. RESERVE NUMBER 1838 E LOCATED AT ORARI This stand consists of 3.1 hectares stocked with Plnus nigra (the predominant species) and Plnus radiata. The age of the stand is approximately 36 years. Specifications may be obtained from the County Office, 20 Elizabeth Street, P.O. Box 511, Timaru. Tenders for the above close at 5 p.m. Friday, December 16, 1988.
