Run the Risk outstayed the former New Zealand mare, Goldrush Girl, in the Coca-Cola Christmas Cup, the feature event for pacers at Albion Park, Brisbane, on Saturday evening.
Brydon Duke, which led, was cut back to third, with another former New Zealander, Kinda Smooth, the winner of seven races at Albion Park this season, fourth.
