Sir Paul’s daughter marries
PA Wellington The Governor-General’s daughter, Sarah, has married her father’s former aide-de-camp, Brian Tunui.
The ceremony at St Mathews-in-the-City Church, Auckland, on Saturday was officiated by Sir Paul Reeves and was attended by about 300 guests. The couple met when Sir Paul became Gover-nor-General three years ago. Mr Tunui was a lieutenant in the Army at the time but has since resigned and is now studying for a commerce degree at Auckland University. Outside the church, Mr Tunui said he and his wife were heading for a twoweek honeymoon in Hawaii before returning home for Christmas.
They will be looking for a home to buy in Auckland next year, but have not decided which suburb 1 ; he said.
