High-rise cost?
One of Christchurch’s most exclusive residences has changed hands for what a real estate agent describes as “a substantial six-figure sum.” The property, one of two penthouses in the Kamahi apartment block, 18 Carlton Mill Road, was sold by Mcßrearty’s Real Estate 10 days after it was advertised. Kamahi, with one other penthouse and 11 smaller units, was built 13 years ago with an emphasis on security for the residents. The vendors had lived in the penthouse for eight years. The new owner was a New Zealander, but from out of Christchurch, said the agents.
