Break-in legitimate
The police were called to a house in Kendal Avenue, Burnside, last evening when a man and woman were seen smashing open the front door. A neighbour who saw the pair and did not recognise them called the police at 8.15 p.m. But it was a false alarm as the pair were breaking in to help a person inside the house who had suffered a medical emergency, said Inspector Graeme Cairns.
