Bookings high for Business Expo
Almost half of the exhibitors who entered in the Southern Business Expo ’BB have booked again for next year, with six months to go. This year’s show attracted 3000 visitors and Expo ’B9 promised to be just as good, said the Christchurch Expo Exhibitions branch manager, Mrs Sharon Dixon. It would be held in the Christchurch Town Hall from May 23 to 25, and would focus on three themes: the office in 1990, business services and business learning. "It is hoped to create an over-all advertising
concept called ‘Southern Business Horizons 1990’,” she said. Because this year’s seminars on marketing strategies were so well received they had been included in next year’s line-up. “As far as the exhibitor is concerned, the show is an economical way of seeing 3000 potential clients at once. From the customer’s point of view, it is a very neutral environment in which to discuss a possible purchase," she said. . Sixty sites have been allocated for the exhibitors in the ’B9 show.
