We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to become members of our software/application engineering team. SYSTEMS ENGINEER/SOFTWARE Applications are invited from those who have completed a degree or diploma In Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Computer Science; with a minimum of one year’s practical experience. The successful applicant will be responsible for customisation of our systems to individual customer requirements. This includes the installation of database(s), system networks, communication interfaces; and ongoing customer software support. Extensive training will be provided. A software programming background in C, Macro Assembly and PASCAL is required. SYSTEMS ENGINEER/ APPLICATIONS Applications are invited from those who possess good communication and analytical skills, an aptitude to learn various publishing packages and a minimum of one year’s experience with computers. Experience of a newspaper environment is desirable but not essential. The succesful applicant will be part of our Systems Enginering team; which is responsible for setting up customer computer systems, user training, and ongoing customer support. Both positions will require travel, within New Zealand and overseas.
