Plug for wine
Sir, —A certain manufacturer of wines is going to some expense to boast in your pages that it produces “the best New Zealand Chardonnay in the world.” I make no judgment on its quality, although it is sad to find that we live in times when quality itself is insufficient advertisement. But I daresay I am not the only one of your readers to wonder where else in the world might New Zealand wines be produced. — Yours, etc., D. J. ROUND. November 20, 1988.
