Obituary Sir Douglas Carter
NZPA Hamilton Sir Douglas Carter, a former New Zealand High Commissioner to London and National Minister of Agriculture, has died. He was aged 80. Sir Douglas was member of Parliament for Raglan from 1957 to 1975,
former chairman of the Pig Producers’ Council, and a former member of the Sharemilker Employers’ Association, the Waikato provincial dairy section of Federated Farmers, and the Waikato Primary Producers’ Council.
