Race venue wait
NZPA-AFP Paris Australia and New Zealand will not know until next month which has won the last place in the 1989 world championship rally calendar. In the provisional list announced by the sport's governing body, F.1.5.A., yesterday, a place has been left open for a tenth event in the constructors’ championship, and the drivers’ championship will be raced over 12 events if Australia is designated the venue, 13 if New Zealand gets the vote.
