[national BANK APPOINTMENT Mr Wayne Hawkyard, B.Sc Hons, has been appointed The National Bank’s Chief Manager Insurance Services. The position is a new one and relates to The National Bank’s increasing involvement in insurance services. Mr Hawkyard was formerly General Manager, Edward J. Jones Limited, Wellington and prior to that was Assistant Managing Director of Royal Life Insurance Limited, where he had responsibility for investments, corporate planning and group superannuation.
