Brierley sweat Britain’s second biggest hotelier — Robert Peel — is determined to make “Kiwi raider,” Sir Ron Brierley, sweat, according to the “Daily Express” newspaper. Peel, chairman of the Mount Charlotte hotel group, is believed to be considering a £4OO million (SNZII39M) rights issue. That would dilute Sir Ron’s 7 per cent stake and give Peel ammunition for the likely auction of Scottish and Newcastle’s Thistle Hotel group, the paper said.
