Subsidiary TV head
PA Wellington The director-general of Television New Zealand, Mr Julian Mounter, has named Mr Arthur Stacey as chief executive of Transmission Company. The company will be incorporated as a Television New Zealand subsidiary by March, 1989, after the creation of TVNZ as a new Stateowned enterprise on December 1. Mr Stacey is managing director of Broadcasting Services which provides transmission and networking services to TVNZ and Radio New Zealand. Transmission Company will be staffed predominantly from Broadcasting Services and provide much the same service.
