Peace movement
Sir,—l wonder if law-abiding taxpayers in New Zealand ever wonder what the Left-wing "peaceniks” do with the large amounts of taxpayers’ money, handed out willy-nilly by our kind Government? A Danish newspaper clipping arrived in my mail, naming New Zealand "peace” groups and listing names of persons belonging to each group which has been sending money to Danish papers to encourage Left-wing Danes to join forces with them, as New Zealand is “considered a world figure in ’peace’ ”, The sender would like these names publicised, and the tone of his letter
leaves no doubt that he thinks that Denmark would be better off without interference from New Zealand Left-wing radicals. I agree.—Yours, etc., JOAN WILKINSON. November 3, 1988.
