Mr Rob McKay has been appointed general manager of the recently expanded Guthrie Financial Corporation, Ltd, South Island. Previously he was manager of the South Island branch of the then D. L. Guthrie and Sons, a branch operation he established three years ago. His early career was in private and public radio broadcasting, which began with the BCNZ while studying accountancy at Canterbury University. He was recently appointed director of the Christchurch-based exporting company, Canterbury Sheepskin Products.
