Team 'too realistic’
A promotion in Cathedral Square yesterday by the C 93 FM radio station was toned down after Christchurch police found it “too realistic.” Five members of the promotion team were dressed as terrorists to give away tickets to the film, “Die Hard.” The radio station’s manager, Mr Steve Marshall, said the police asked members of the group to remove their balaclavas when they saw how realistic their outfits were. Mr Marshall said the police were aware that the group would hold a promotion in the Square.
