Meeting abandoned
PA Palmerston North The Woodville-Pahia-tua Racing Club’s meeting, scheduled for tomorrow, has been abandoned.
Heavy rain yesterday forced an inspection by the club’s track committee and the waterlogged nature of the track and surrounds left no alternative but to call the meeting off. The club’s secretary, Don Sargent, said it is intended to apply for another date later in the season.
