Journalist hit by car

Mr Larry Saunders, a former sports editor and columnist with “The Star,” was seriously ill in Christchurch Hospital last evening after being hit by a car on Monday. Mr Saunders, aged 66, suffered head injuries and multiple fractures, including two broken legs. He is in the hospital’s intensive care unit. The accident happened
