N.Z. String Quartet
PA Wellington The New Zealand String Quartet, the first full-time string quartet in this country, will make its second tour of New Zealand from October 1 to 11. The quartet, launched in May last year, will perform works by Beethoven, Verdi and Bartok in Timaru, Akaroa, Motueka, Blenheim, Tauranga, Wanganui, Auckland and Wellington. The Akaroa concert will be held in The Gallery on Sunday, October 2, starting at 5 p.m.
