Chch dancer among finalists
The merchant bankers, Fay, Richwhite and Company, Limited, will sponsor two contemporary dance scholarships for third-year students at the New Zealand School of Dnncc The scholarships, of
$5OOO each, are issued in conjunction with the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand. The arts council provides scholarships for first and second year students only and the school itself has been funding some'
dancers through a third year out of its own resources. This year the school has six second year students who are possible award recipients. They are: Glenn Birchall of Dunedin, Ursula Robb of
Raetihi, Donnine Harrison of Napier, Sheryl Robinson of Christchurch, Julie Eaddy of Auckland and Catherine Blakely of Tauranga. The scholarship winners will be announced on December 2.
