Sir, —How much longer do we have to put up with this Olympian mispronunciation? We definitely know this translation because it has been written upon the TV screen and we have heard an Anglicised version of it as well. But why? Oh! Why??— Yours, etc., G. P. L. BRETHERTON. September 24, 1988.
