Another quest for Lili
“Which one of you bastards is my father?” takes over from “Which one of you bitches is my mother?” as the burning question posed by the heroine, Lili, in the top-rating American mini-series “Lace II” rescreening at 8.30 tonight on Two. The phenomenal success of the
original “Lace” led to the development of this sequel. “Lace” was based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Shirley Conran and, with her consent, the scriptwriter devised a totally new story based on the characters Conran had created in the novel.
