Mr Ron Boorer has been appointed dye-house manager of Christchurch Carpet Yarns, Ltd. He joins Christchurch Carpet Yarns after 12 years with Alliance Textiles in Oamaru. He. was dyehouse manager of the plant for eight years. Before this he was a technical dyer with Alford Forest Mills in Ashburton. Christchurch Carpet Yarns is the flagship company of Mair Astley Holdings wool manufacturing stream. Mr Boorer will be responsible for overseeing Christchurch Carpet Yarns’ dye-house facilities, including a wool dyeing and blending section and laboratory.
