Duties: The Wharf Supervisor will be responsible for the general operation of the NZAS wharf at Tiwai leading a team dedicated to the efficient loading and discharging of vessels servicing the smelter. This includes the handling of raw materials into store. Qualifications and Experience: Applicants should have had extensive experience in the stevedoring industry and be able to handle all aspects of wharf operations. Some experience in material handling equipment and conveyor systems would be an advantage. Applicants should also be suited for acceptance of a large measure of responsibility in areas of industrial relations and man-management together with the ability to report operational performance accurately by analytical and statistical methods. Qualifications must include a foreign-going certificate of competency. Preferred age range - 40-50.
