Reporting directly to the city manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the section ensuring that a professional, personnel and industrial service is maintained throughout the entire council organisation with a staff number of approximately 550. You will lead a team of 8 staff with objectives in the areas of personnel management, industrial relations, training and payroll administration.
