13 executed
Thirteen people were executed for murder and robbery after public trial in the southern Chinese city of Canton, the “Nanfang Ribao” newspaper reported. The newspaper, published in Canton, said 75 others were given life or long-term prison sentences for a series of offences, including murder, robbery, blackmail and procuring women for prostitution. — Hong Kong.
