Andre Phillips (United States) wins the 400 m hurdles title at the Seoul Olympics yesterday. Behind him is the runner-up, El Hadj Dia Ba (Senegal). The great Ed Moses (United States) finished third. Moses won the Olympic crown in 1976, was unable to defend his title in Russia in 1980 because of the boycott, and regained it at Los Angeles in 1984.
