Soviets in semi-final
NZPA-Reuter Pusan Two second-half penalties helped the Soviet Union to a 3-0 win over Australia and a place in the semi-finals of the Olympic soccer tournament yesterday. Disastrous lapses of concentration in the Australian defence allowed the Dynamo Kiev midfielder, Alexei Mikhailichenko, to burst through in the fiftieth and fiftyfourth minutes. - Twice he was pulled down and twice the cooly assured Igor Dobrovolski scored from the spot with his left foot. The gangling Mikhailichenko, a constant worry to the Australian defence with his runs into the box, scored the third goal in the sixtysecond minute.
