Duchess arrives A trim and relaxed Duchess of York arrived in Sydney yesterday to prepare for the start of her first official tour of Australia. — Sydney. Troops offer The Soviet ambassador hinted that re-basing U.S. troops from the Philippines to Guam might be enough for Moscow to withdraw from Vietnam. “We are taking about the elimination of U.S. military bases in the Philippines,” Oleg Sokolov told a news conference. — Manila.
