Engineering staff laid off
Rowe Engineering in Sockburn made 23 staff redundant yesterday. The secretary of the Canterbury branch of the Engineers’ Union, Mr Bob Todd, said a
redundancy deal had been tiatedUp to five staff were being retained to finish work orders at the company, a subsidiary of Rheems, Ltd.
