Education Vacancies Education Vacancies ♦ Massey University PALMERSTON NORTH CERTECH LEARNING CENTRE PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR THE CERTECH LEARNING CENTRE has been established at Massey University to provide transitional education in mathematics and science for those students who seek to improve their pre-entry qualifications in order to undertake science, mathematics, technology or engineering courses at a New Zealand University or other tertiary institute. Applications are Invited for the foundation post of Programme Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will be expected to organise the work of the Centre and to teach in one of the main disciplines (mathematics, chemistry or physics). SENIOR TUTOR(S)/TUTOR(S) APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED for two foundation posts of Senior Tutor/Tutor. The successful candidates will be expected to assist with the organisation of the work of the Centre and to teach in one of the main disciplines (mathematics, chemistry or physics). This is an exciting development in the provision of bridging courses and will provide challenges in the identification of learning needs and the application of appropriate teaching methods. Applicants for these posts should have a degree in science, mathematics, engineering or technology and have some experience in teaching at the secondary or tertiary education levels.
