Call the Tax Amnesty freephone and get a load off your mind Inland Revenue are holding a Tax Amnesty. It’s open to anyone who’s done anything like fiddling tax returns. Or not filing them. Or failing to declare income. Whatever. So if you fall into any of these categories, innocently or otherwise, the Tax Amnesty gives you a chance to clear it all up. You’ll still have to pay the tax owed. But there’ll be no penal tax, no prosecution and no publication of name. But we should warn you, the Amnesty lasts only until 7 November.
