Waihapa appraisal
PA Wellington Early testing of the Waihapa-2 appraisal well in Taranaki has been inconclusive, the operator, Petrocorp Exploration said yesterday. Testing of the first of several zones of interest began on Wednesday and the programme is expected to last two to three weeks. “A realistic assessment of producibility cannot be made until the initial clean-up work is completed. While results are not yet available, it is hoped that the initial test zones can be reported on more fully by the end of this month,” Petrocorp said.
