Fishing rights

Sir,—lt is becoming increasingly apparent that this Labour Government is seriously underestimating the mood of the electorate. By capitulating to the Maori lobby it' has effectively alienated many liberal “nonMaori” voters who do not much like being treated as visitors in their own country. Whether we have been here for one, four or 20 generations, it does not matter. We are all New Zealanders and, as such, should be treated equally under the law. — Yours, etc., MIKE BARBER. September 21, 1988.
