Mr Lange to visit U.S.
PA Wellington The Prime Minister, Mr Lange, will visit the United States later this month to address the United Nations General Assembly, a spokesman for his office said He will address the forty-third plenary session of the General. Assembly oh September 28 about international develop-
ments during recent years. Mr Lange, who last spoke at the United Nations in 1985, said the organisation was playing an increasingly important peacekeeping role. While in New York he will also lunch with the United Nations SecretaryGeneral, Mr Javier Perez de Cuellar, and address the Council on Foreign Relations.
On September 29 he is due to fly to Dallas to launch a special year-long promotion being co-ordi-nated by the New Zealand Market Development Board. Mr Lange has described the trade promotion as the most comprehensive of its type done by New Zealand. He,, is due back in New Zeafihd on October 4.'
