Attractive centre
The well-landscaped and attractive open courtyard area in the middle of the Bishopdale Shopping Centre is ideal for any number of public displays and demonstrations. With the lovely blossom trees off-set by the ground cover plants the area is aesthetically very pleasing.
It is a natural place for shoppers to congregate and therefore a natural place for groups and individuals to hold promotions and displays. “We are keen to promote this type of activity in the centre, especially as we have such a nice area set aside. As well as being landscaped it has also been chemically cleaned and is serviced by an excellent sound sys-
tem,” said the chairman of the Bishopdale Shopping Centre Merchants’ Association, Mr Merv Laby. In excess of 30,000 people shop at Bishopdale, therefore it offers people thinking of having displays and promotions an opportunity of tapping into a large audience.
The 600 carparks at Bishopdale and the large number of shops mean there is both the depth of shopping and convenience to draw people to the centre. The courtyard area also has spot lights. Anyone interested in promotions or displaying can contact Mr Merv Laby at the Bishopdale Shopping Centre.
