Public Notices HURUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER NOTICE is hereby given that at an Ordinary Meeting of the Hurunui County Council held on the 29th day of August 1988, the Council resolved by way of Special order to amend a bylaw pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 and any amendments thereto and the Standards Act 1988. The title of the by-law to be amended is the “Hurunui County Building By-law 1985 No. 1.” . The title of the amendment is the “Hurunui County Building By-law Amendment No. 1 1988.” The purpose of this amendment is the routine updating of N.Z.S. 1900 Model Building By-law by the addition of amendments and new chapters and deletion of superseded chapters. The following are to be added to the by-law: N.Z.S. 1900: Chapter 1: 1985 Corrigendum 1985 N.Z.S. 1900: Chapter 3: 1985 Amendment Nos 1 and 2 1985 N.Z.S. 1900: Chapter 4: 1985 Amendment No. 1 1987 N.Z.S. 1900: Chapter 6: 1988 Fire resisting construction and means of egress N.Z.S. 1900:Chapter 9: 1985 Amendment No. 2 1988 N.Z.S. 1900: Chapter 10: 1964 Amendment No. 4 1985 The following are to be deleted from the by-law: N.Z.S.: Chapter 5: 1984 Fire resisting construction and means of egress N.Z.S. 1188: 1954 Fire-doors and fire-windows This amendment shall come into force on the Ist day of December, 1988.
