BHP-AMP deal
BHP Co has sold the management agreement on its head office to owners of the 41-storey building, AMP Society, for sAust9l million. BHP said the deal allowed the company to realise an asset not related to core businesses. The agreement gave BHP rights to manage the building until 2021. It would remain in the building as the major tenant. The sale also included an agreement that sAust3sM would be spent refurbishing the building.
