Übix Copiers (NZ) has announced a trading profit of $4.6 million for the year ended June 30 (S2M the previous year). Extraordinaries of $lOO,OOO (nil) brought the bottom line profit to $4.7M, an increase of 135 per cent. Turnover of $46.9 million was an increase of 39.5 per cent on last year’s $33.6M. The offer by lEP, the Hong Kong-based affiliate of Sir Ronald Brierley’s Industrial Equity, Ltd, closed on September 9, lEP said. It said the additional 44 per cent acquired since it launched the offer on August 12 represented an investment of about SUS3O million (SNZ4BM).
