NPF quiet about W. Horton

The National Provident Fund will neither confirm nor deny it has bought part of the 10.5 per cent shareholding in Wilson and Horton previously owned by the Bell group of Mr Robert Holmes a Court. The chief executive of the fund, Mr John Perham, said “We do not provide information on any aspect of our buying or selling." Some market sources suggested that the fund had sold 250,000 Wilson and Horton shares at 600 c and bought a proportion of the Bell holding at 575 c.
